The Cotton Overshirt, created in collaboration with ArtsZero, is handcrafted in France. It is made entirely from wild cotton woven in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, then hand-painted by ArtsZero, making every garment a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

This collaboration was born from a meeting between two creators who share the same passion for Japanese craftsmanship. We wanted to offer ArtsZero a blank canvas through our overshirt, allowing him complete creative freedom. Blending his distinctive visual language—particularly his expressive faces—with the world of our Kurashiki-inspired collection, he pays tribute to the aesthetic of traditional Japanese woodblock prints.

This design features Hyottoko, a traditional Japanese mask symbolizing good fortune, blowing across a sea of clouds that gradually reveals the city of Kurashiki in the distance.

Care Instructions

Machine wash at a maximum of 20°C (68°F). Do not bleach. We recommend hanging the garment to air dry to minimize shrinkage and help maintain its shape. Iron at a medium temperature, placing a damp cloth between the iron and the garment after washing to protect the hand-painted artwork.
